I build.
Then I write about it.
Owning Future is my publication. One essay a month. About ownership, cities, and how things actually get built.
I write from inside the work. Not from the sidelines. I am not a reporter. I am a builder who writes.
No forecasts. No trends. No motivation. One essay a month, and only when it is worth sending.
I grew up in Bosnia. I built my career in Dubai.
I run Proptefi. It is building a credit card backed by your home, starting with Dubai. The market it works in is still being written.
Dubai did not exist in its current form twenty years ago. I build inside that. Most of my thinking comes from it.
For years I studied how the serious builders operated, before I was one of them. I learned the language. I mapped the patterns.
There is a gap between knowing how the game works and earning the right to play it. I lived in that gap a long time. I still do, some days. That gap is what I write from.
I also build Owning Dubai, for buyers, and Selling Dubai, for agents. And Dubai of Tomorrow, the living record of Dubai's founders. What I learn building them ends up here.

Standing declarations
Proptefi is the company behind this site. Sometimes I write about companies that compete with it, work with it, or sell to it. When that matters, I say so in the essay.
I get things wrong sometimes. When I do, I fix it and put my name on the fix. Tell me.
